 | Bob Hapgood
Founding, original & current memfer of McPherson. Bob comes from a long family history
of musicians that goes back to the 1800's! His father was the drummer for many bands
througout the 1920's - 1940's including the Hapgood Band of McPherson, KS. Bob started playing in 1957 |

with Micky Decker & The Galaxys. Bob was also a member of the Astronaughts of Denver, Colorado. Bob started at KNEX in 1968 as D.J. Leader. He is currently a disc jockey at KNGL-KBBE as an early morning announcer, playing music, contests, and selling adds. Today Bob still provides the strong beat for the King Midas Band! Bob and Jeannie, his wife, have two sons. |
